Overview

While it's a generalization, faculty users are often among the most challenging to satisfy when it comes to working in Slate. And there are valid reasons for this. Faculty members spend significantly more time in the platform than applicants, yet have less insight into its inner workings compared to staff. On top of that, they must juggle their work in Slate with teaching, research, and administrative duties. Expectations can also vary widely across disciplines, adding another layer of complexity.

Given their influence and stature on campus, ensuring a positive experience for faculty in Slate is crucial. One effective solution is the development of faculty portals, designed to streamline processes and make the platform as intuitive as possible for faculty users.
