Batch Acquire Only Deletes 5,000 Sets

Scenario

A DIP import was malfunctioning for a long time, resulting in a huge number of docs ending up in Batch Acquire. We decided to delete the batch and start fresh.

After clicking delete and confirming, Batch Acquire was empty. The next day, many more documents appeared with old dates! Where did they come from? 🤔

Cause

After a batch reaches 5000 documents, additional documents aren't displayed. This is documented.

Apparently, the delete button only deletes the first 5000 documents from the batch. Click Refresh Batches or wait for some time, and additional documents will appear in the same batch.
