๐ชUpgrading from Reader to Workflow
Congratulations on making the move from the legacy Reader to Workflows! This transition brings enhanced functionality and a modernized experience. However, there are some key differences youโll want to be aware of as you get started.
Querying on Records in Workflows
ย | Reader | Workflow |
Record's Current Bin | Current Bin | Workflow Bin |
Record's Bin History | Bin History | Workflow Bin History |
Queue(s) the Record is or has been in | Application Reader Queue | Workflow Bin User Queue |
Tips for Configuring Reader Tabs
- Additionally, Reader Tab Groups and Reader Tab Materials have been consolidated into Reader Tabs in Workflows. Configuring some items may not be as intuitive as desired, so here are some tips for configuring your tabs.
Tips for Configuring Reader Tabs
- The standard Fraud Report is available under Record Data > Type: Fraud Report
- Reader Forms are separate from all other Forms/Events, so make sure you select the Reader Form item if you want a review form.
- As a note, you can now indicate whether you want to see a reader form no matter which workflow it was submitted in or only if submitted in the current workflow. Cool!
- Any reports saved in the Reader-Reports folder will be available via Cluster Report.
Preparing Your Team for Workflows
Workflows are built on Configurable Joins, which provide powerful query-building capabilities. To ensure a smooth transition, make sure your users are trained to:
- Build basic configurable join queries.
- Run these queries effectively to access and analyze the necessary data.
This preparation will empower your team to maximize the capabilities of Workflows while minimizing disruptions.
