Overview

Workflows are a powerful update to the legacy Reader module in Slate. Transitioning to workflows allows for use of configurable join queries in views, easier creation and maintenance of reader tab groups and materials, and easier reorganization of rules among other improvements. It is strongly recommended that institutions transition to workflows when bandwidth allows to take advantage of these benefits.

A general search for "workflow" will return results including many comments from group members asking questions and describing their experiences with custom datasets.
